The »bidding war« ended at EUR 71,920.00 44% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Francesco Lo Savio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spazio luce in April 2017 with an auction result of EUR 486,880.00.

Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Francesco Lo Savio wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 71.920,00 und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Lo Savio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spazio luce im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 486.880,00.
