The work Senza titolo by Francesco Lo Savio was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2007. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 71,920.00 44% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Francesco Lo Savio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spazio luce in April 2017 with an auction result of EUR 486,880.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Francesco Lo Savio wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 71.920,00 und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Lo Savio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spazio luce im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 486.880,00.
