Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2006 Christies in Rome held the auction 19th Century Pictures, which included the work Ritratto Delle Signore Carolina Grassi E Bianca Bignami, Sorelle Gabrini, 1835. by Francesco Hayez. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 109,120.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Hayez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Bacio in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,865,000.00 (€ 1,630,102.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion 19th Century Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ritratto Delle Signore Carolina Grassi E Bianca Bignami, Sorelle Gabrini, 1835. von Francesco Hayez zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 109.120,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Hayez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Bacio im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.865.000,00 (€ 1.630.102,26).
