Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Il bacio by Francesco Hayez. The price achieved of EUR 13,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 14,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Hayez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Bacio in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,865,000.00 (€ 1,630,102.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il bacio von Francesco Hayez zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 14.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Hayez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Bacio im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.865.000,00 (€ 1.630.102,26).
