A top price for Francesco Graziani - as previously expected
In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings and British Paintings, which included the work Two Battle Scenes Between Christians And Turks by Francesco Graziani. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,577.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Two Battle Scenes Between Christians And Turks is the most expensive artwork by Francesco Graziani that we have observed at auctions so far.
