Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 42,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Foschi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paysage D'Hiver, Probablement "Le Tunnel À Travers La Falaise À Il Furlo", which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 156,000.00.
