Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Extensive Winter Mountainscape by Francesco Foschi was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,317.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Foschi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage D'Hiver, Probablement "Le Tunnel À Travers La Falaise À Il Furlo" in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 156,000.00.

Die Arbeit An Extensive Winter Mountainscape von Francesco Foschi kam im April 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.317,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Foschi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage D'Hiver, Probablement "Le Tunnel À Travers La Falaise À Il Furlo" im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 156.000,00.
