Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper, which included the work Venus and Cupid by Francesco Fernandi. The price achieved of GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,805.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Fernandi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study Of Two Dogs, which sold at auction in July 2018 for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,007.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venus and Cupid von Francesco Fernandi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.512,00 (€ 1.805,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Fernandi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Study Of Two Dogs beobachtet, die im Juli 2018 für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.007,62) versteigert wurde.
