Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Interno a Sanremo by Francesco de Rocchi was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco de Rocchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Giardino d'estate, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 3,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Interno a Sanremo von Francesco de Rocchi im Dezember 2021 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco de Rocchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Giardino d'estate beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 3.000,00 versteigert wurde.
