Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francesco de Rocchi could be acquired at Il Ponte in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Giardino della casa del dottore changed hands for EUR 1,800.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,900.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Francesco de Rocchi have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June last year by the work Giardino d'estate at EUR 3,000.00.
