Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Head of a youth by Francesco Curradi was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Christies in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,587.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Curradi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bathsheba at her bath in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,244.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Head of a youth von Francesco Curradi wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.587,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Curradi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bathsheba at her bath im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.244,22).
