Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings Part II, which included the work The Pietà by Francesco Brini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,149.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Francesco Brini have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Madonna mit Kind und einem Heiligen was auctioned for EUR 11,160.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Pietà von Francesco Brini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.149,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Francesco Brini konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Madonna mit Kind und einem Heiligen für EUR 11.160,00 versteigert.
