Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work The Madonna and Child with the Infant Saint John the Baptist by Francesco Brini for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,440.81). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art Including Select Works From the Salander-O'Reilly Galleries at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Francesco Brini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna mit Kind und einem Heiligen in May 2018 with an auction result of EUR 11,160.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Madonna and Child with the Infant Saint John the Baptist von Francesco Brini für USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.440,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art Including Select Works From the Salander-O'Reilly Galleries bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Brini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Madonna mit Kind und einem Heiligen im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.160,00.
