Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings and Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work Christ The Redeemer by Francesco Bissolo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,615.35). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Bissolo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Madonna and Child with Saints Peter, John the Evangelist, James the Great and two other Apostles with the donor in adoration, which sold at auction in July 2005 for GBP 72,000.00 (€ 104,435.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings and Sculpture Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Christ The Redeemer von Francesco Bissolo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.615,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Bissolo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Madonna and Child with Saints Peter, John the Evangelist, James the Great and two other Apostles with the donor in adoration beobachtet, die im Juli 2005 für GBP 72.000,00 (€ 104.435,32) versteigert wurde.
