Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction The European Art Sale, which included the work Life of the Party by Francesco Bergamini. The price achieved of USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,054.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Bergamini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Disobedient Pupil in June 2008 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 19,843.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The European Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Life of the Party von Francesco Bergamini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.528,00 (€ 3.054,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Bergamini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Disobedient Pupil im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 19.843,79).
