This work of art by Francesco Albotto could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in June 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, Session I auction, the work Venice, a view of the Molo from the Bacino di San Marco, with the Palazzo Ducale and the Bucentaur changed hands for EUR 47,880.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Albotto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, A View Of The Molo From The Bacino Di San Marco, With The Piazzetta And The Palazzo Ducale in June 2010 with an auction result of USD 638,500.00 (€ 519,485.80).
