In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work Pullover; and Spinster by Frances Mabel Hollams. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,056.82), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frances Mabel Hollams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The piper, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,674.49).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.056,82) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
