In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale, which included the work Scimmia by Fortunato Depero. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 25,200.00 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fortunato Depero have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ballerina in November last year with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scimmia von Fortunato Depero zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 25.200,00 und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fortunato Depero auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ballerina im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
