In May last year Il Ponte held the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea, which included the work Civetta e pappagalli by Fortunato Depero. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 50,000.00 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fortunato Depero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ballerina, which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 200,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Civetta e pappagalli von Fortunato Depero zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 50.000,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fortunato Depero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ballerina beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 200.000,00 versteigert wurde.
