In October last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Made in Holland, which included the work Thei by Fons Haagmans. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,780.00 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fons Haagmans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstract Schilderij Vi, which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 15,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Made in Holland durch, in der auch die Arbeit Thei von Fons Haagmans zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.780,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fons Haagmans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abstract Schilderij Vi beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert wurde.
