Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Florian Maier-Aichen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2021. The price achieved of USD 11,340.00 (€ 9,426.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Florian Maier-Aichen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Mulholland) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,308.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Florian Maier-Aichen kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 9.426,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Florian Maier-Aichen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Mulholland) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.308,48).
