Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work A Mediterranean Garden by Florence St. John Cadell for GBP 192.00 (€ 275.10). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Florence St. John Cadell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Apple In A Dish On A Draped Table, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 660.00 (€ 945.66).
