Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Witness Of Time' by Flor Garduño. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 7,590.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Flor Garduño - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Witnesses Of Time', which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,980.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Witness Of Time' von Flor Garduño zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 7.590,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Flor Garduño mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Witnesses Of Time' beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.980,62) versteigert wurde.
