Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chieftain Chair by Finn Juhl was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 83,788.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Finn Juhl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Early and rare 'Chieftain' armchair, model no. FJ 49 A, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 1,937,500.00 (€ 236,097.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chieftain Chair von Finn Juhl wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 83.788,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Finn Juhl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Early and rare 'Chieftain' armchair, model no. FJ 49 A beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 1.937.500,00 (€ 236.097,32) versteigert wurde.
