This artwork by Filippo Vitale achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in November 2008. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Figura Di Santo sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Filippo Vitale; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lot And His Daughters sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 31,660.75).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Filippo Vitale erzielte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit Figura Di Santo für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Filippo Vitale; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Lot And His Daughters im Dezember 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 23.300,00 (€ 31.660,75).
