Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Lux Lumina - Untitled by Filippo Sciascia. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,027.77). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Filippo Sciascia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lux Lumina - Shelter, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 23,374.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lux Lumina - Untitled von Filippo Sciascia zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.027,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Filippo Sciascia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lux Lumina - Shelter beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 23.374,97) versteigert wurde.
