In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Homage to Vermeer by Filippo Sciascia. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,067.22), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Filippo Sciascia have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 23,374.97) in May 2010 for the work Lux Lumina - Shelter.

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Homage to Vermeer von Filippo Sciascia zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.067,22) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Filippo Sciascia haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 23.374,97) im Mai 2010 für die Arbeit Lux Lumina - Shelter beobachtet.
