Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Filippo de Pisis could be acquired at Christies in Milan in May 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Natura morta con barattolo changed hands for EUR 26,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Filippo de Pisis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ponte sulla Senna in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 196,000,000.00 (€ 185,452.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Filippo de Pisis konnte im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Natura morta con barattolo für EUR 26.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 35.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filippo de Pisis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ponte sulla Senna im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 196.000.000,00 (€ 185.452,40).
