Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale, which included the work Hakeem vs Ewing by Filipp Jenikae. The price achieved of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 4,423.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Filipp Jenikae have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barclays Centre, Kevin Durant in April this year with an auction result of GBP 30,480.00 (€ 34,737.26).
