A top price for Fifo Stricker - as previously expected
In May 2011 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Schweizer Kunst / Swiss Art, which included the work Fifofamilienmitglied, 2010 Family Member, 2010 by Fifo Stricker. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 6,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 6,250.00 (€ 5,016.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fifofamilienmitglied, 2010 Family Member, 2010 is the most expensive artwork by Fifo Stricker that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Schweizer Kunst / Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fifofamilienmitglied, 2010 Family Member, 2010 von Fifo Stricker zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 6.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 6.250,00 (€ 5.016,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Fifofamilienmitglied, 2010 Family Member, 2010 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Fifo Stricker, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
