Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Man With Hat by Fernando Cueto Amorsolo was sold in the Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 320,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 327,600.00 (€ 35,074.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernando Cueto Amorsolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maiden With Fruits, 1930 in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,975,625.00 (€ 564,565.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Man With Hat von Fernando Cueto Amorsolo wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 320.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 327.600,00 (€ 35.074,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernando Cueto Amorsolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maiden With Fruits, 1930 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.975.625,00 (€ 564.565,93).
