Auction result well in line with expectations
In January last year Christies held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale, which included the work Harvesting Rice by Fernando Cueto Amorsolo. The price achieved of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,316.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 240,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernando Cueto Amorsolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maiden With Fruits, 1930 in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,975,625.00 (€ 564,565.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar letzten Jahres führte Christies die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Harvesting Rice von Fernando Cueto Amorsolo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.316,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernando Cueto Amorsolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maiden With Fruits, 1930 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.975.625,00 (€ 564.565,93).
