Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 15,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernando Álvarez de Sotomayor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orando A La Dolorosa (Praying To The Dolorosa) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 132,500.00 (€ 185,534.28).
