However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fernando Álvarez de Sotomayor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Orando A La Dolorosa (Praying To The Dolorosa), which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 132,500.00 (€ 185,534.28).
