A top price for Fernand Le Quesne - as previously expected
The work French Allegorie De La Publicite by Fernand Le Quesne was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2009. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 43,711.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French Allegorie De La Publicite is the most expensive artwork by Fernand Le Quesne that we have observed at auctions so far.
