The auction ended at the price of GBP 500.00 (€ 637.43), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fergus Connell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ready for a walk, which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,959.05).
