In the 19th Century European Art including The Orientalist Sale auction, the work German Serenade In The Harem sold for USD 115,000.00 (€ 73,869.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Max Bredt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Oriental Noblewoman And Her Entourage On A Barge, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 131,200.00 (€ 194,446.69).
