Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction The Orientalist Sale, which included the work German afternoon Repose by Ferdinand Max Bredt. It changed hands for a price of GBP 86,500.00 (€ 102,074.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Other works by Ferdinand Max Bredt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2005 the work An Oriental Noblewoman And Her Entourage On A Barge was auctioned for GBP 131,200.00 (€ 194,446.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit German afternoon Repose von Ferdinand Max Bredt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 86.500,00 (€ 102.074,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Max Bredt konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2005 die Arbeit An Oriental Noblewoman And Her Entourage On A Barge für GBP 131.200,00 (€ 194.446,69) versteigert.
