Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Dutch Philemon And Baucis by Ferdinand Hart Nibbrig. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 78,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Hart Nibbrig - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Boekweitveld Met Laren In De Verte, which sold at auction in June 2001 for NLG 345,000.00 (€ 165,823.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch Philemon And Baucis von Ferdinand Hart Nibbrig zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 78.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Hart Nibbrig mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Boekweitveld Met Laren In De Verte beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für NLG 345.000,00 (€ 165.823,11) versteigert wurde.
