Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Religiöses Motiv. by Ferdinand Gehr was auctioned at Koller in June 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of CHF 500.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for CHF 417.00 (€ 273.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Gehr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landschaft. 1980. in June 2019 with an auction result of CHF 49,100.00 (€ 44,524.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Religiöses Motiv. von Ferdinand Gehr im Juni 2004 bei Koller versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für CHF 417,00 (€ 273,47) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Gehr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landschaft. 1980. im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 49.100,00 (€ 44.524,98).
