Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aufziehendes Gewitter an der Küste ins Terraeina; Abend am Strand zum Terraeina by Ferdinand Bellermann was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. The price achieved of NLG 15,212.60 (€ 6,686.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 14,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Bellermann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Costa De La Guaira A La Caida Del Sol in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 797,000.00 (€ 613,643.36).

Die Arbeit Aufziehendes Gewitter an der Küste ins Terraeina; Abend am Strand zum Terraeina von Ferdinand Bellermann wurde im Juli 2000 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 15.212,60 (€ 6.686,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 14.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Bellermann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Costa De La Guaira A La Caida Del Sol im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 797.000,00 (€ 613.643,36).
