The work Quiet Valley by Feng Linzhang was sold in the FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2000. It achieved a price of HKD 141,000.00 (€ 21,301.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. With this result, Quiet Valley is even the most expensive work of art by Feng Linzhang that we have observed at auctions so far.
