Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2004 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings, which included the work Lotus After Rain by Feng Linzhang. The price achieved of HKD 107,550.00 (€ 10,834.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Feng Linzhang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2000 the work Quiet Valley was auctioned for HKD 141,000.00 (€ 21,301.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus After Rain von Feng Linzhang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 107.550,00 (€ 10.834,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Feng Linzhang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2000 die Arbeit Quiet Valley für HKD 141.000,00 (€ 21.301,20) versteigert.
