Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in Paris held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Seven-Character Poems in Cursive Script by Feng Fang. The price achieved of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 41,224.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Feng Fang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 166,844.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Poems in Cursive Script von Feng Fang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 41.224,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Fang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 166.844,63).
