Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Félix Varla could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art auction, the work Still life with sunflowers changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 760.06) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Félix Varla have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femmes Et Enfant in April 2019 with an auction result of EUR 3,380.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Félix Varla konnte im Juni 2010 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Art wechselte die Arbeit Still life with sunflowers für GBP 625,00 (€ 760,06) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Félix Varla auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femmes Et Enfant im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.380,00.
