Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aux champs by Félix Varla was sold in the INTERIEURS auction at Christies in Paris in December 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 411.25 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Félix Varla have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femmes Et Enfant in April 2019 with an auction result of EUR 3,380.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aux champs von Félix Varla wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion INTERIEURS bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 411,25 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Félix Varla auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femmes Et Enfant im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.380,00.
