A top price for Felix Martinez
When the work River Landscape by Felix Martinez was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 450,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at HKD 2,060,000.00 (€ 179,021.66). This high result makes River Landscape the most expensive artwork by Felix Martinez that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit River Landscape von Felix Martinez im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
