Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View of the Harbour by Felix Kelly was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Christies in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,729.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Felix Kelly have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brighton in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,710.17).
