This artwork by Felix Kelly achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2013. In the The Sunday Sale auction, the work The Old Traction Engine sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,402.09) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Felix Kelly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Brighton, which sold at auction in July 2013 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,710.17).

Für andere Arbeiten von Felix Kelly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Brighton beobachtet, die im Juli 2013 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.710,17) versteigert wurde.
