Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2005 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The Courtship by Félix-Henri Giacomotti. The price achieved of USD 12,000.00 (€ 10,004.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Félix-Henri Giacomotti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zenobie Découverte Par Les Bergers Sur Les Rives De L'Araxefelix-Henry Giacomotti ; Zenobia Found By The Shepherds On The Banks Of The Arax ; Signed Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas, which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 25,000.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 10.004,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
