Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work An Italian beauty; and Contemplation by Félix-Henri Giacomotti. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,021.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix-Henri Giacomotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zenobie Découverte Par Les Bergers Sur Les Rives De L'Araxefelix-Henry Giacomotti ; Zenobia Found By The Shepherds On The Banks Of The Arax ; Signed Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.

Im März 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Italian beauty; and Contemplation von Félix-Henri Giacomotti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.021,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix-Henri Giacomotti erzielen.
